Safety Notes

CONTRAINDICATED (THEORETICAL): Individuals with active cancer, history of cancer, or high cancer risk should avoid TB-500 due to its pro-angiogenic and cell migration-promoting properties, which could theoretically support tumor growth NO HUMAN CLINICAL TRIALS: Safety profile is derived almost entirely from community reports and animal studies — long-term risks are unknown UNREGULATED COMPOUND: Not FDA-approved; quality and purity of research chemical sources cannot be guaranteed

Mechanism of Action

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-amino acid protein that sequesters G-actin monomers, regulating actin polymerization which is critical for cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. It upregulates actin and promotes angiogenesis, keratinocyte migration, and collagen deposition, while also interacting with PINCH and ILK proteins involved in cell survival signaling. Key Pathways: Actin cytoskeleton regulation (G-actin sequestration), Angiogenesis promotion (new blood vessel formation), Anti-inflammatory signaling (NF-κB modulation), Cell migration and proliferation (wound healing cascade) The actin-regulatory and pro-angiogenic properties theoretically accelerate tissue repair by enabling faster cell migration to injury sites and promoting new blood vessel formation to support healing tissue. The anti-inflammatory effects may reduce pain and swelling during recovery, while collagen deposition support could improve structural repair quality in tendons and muscles.
