Tesamorelin Reconstitution & Dosage Calculator
This Tesamorelin dosage calculator explains reconstitution arithmetic using the amount printed on a vial and a water volume you supply. Catalog vial-size examples include 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg; they are not universal product strengths. Enter your actual label rather than assuming that a preset applies. Product names do not determine concentration: the labeled mass and entered volume do. The example amounts below are arbitrary arithmetic inputs, not recommended doses, schedules, routes, or treatments.

How to use the peptide calculator
- Check the Tesamorelin vial label and enter the mass for one vial in mg, not the combined mass of a multi-vial kit.
- Enter a water volume in mL. The calculator shows the resulting concentration; it does not choose a preparation volume or confirm suitability.
- Enter an amount to convert, selecting mg or mcg. Divide micrograms by 1,000 before working with mg/mL.
- Read the result in mL and U-100 syringe markings. Check the inputs and retain full precision until the final display.
The reconstitution formula
Concentration (mg/mL) = mg in vial ÷ mL of water.
Volume (mL) = desired amount (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL).
U-100 syringe units = volume (mL) × 100. Convert mcg to mg by dividing by 1,000 before calculating.
Worked examples
5 mg vial with an entered 2 mL
5 ÷ 2 = 2.5 mg/mL. An arbitrary 0.5 mg example corresponds to 0.5 ÷ 2.5 = 0.2 mL, or 20 U-100 units. A 0.1 mL reference draw represents 0.25 mg. These are numerical examples only.
10 mg vial with an entered 2 mL
10 ÷ 2 = 5 mg/mL. An arbitrary 0.5 mg example corresponds to 0.5 ÷ 5 = 0.1 mL, or 10 U-100 units. A 0.1 mL reference draw represents 0.5 mg. These are numerical examples only.
20 mg vial with an entered 2 mL
20 ÷ 2 = 10 mg/mL. An arbitrary 0.5 mg example corresponds to 0.5 ÷ 10 = 0.05 mL, or 5 U-100 units. A 0.1 mL reference draw represents 1 mg. These are numerical examples only.
Concentration reference table
Math-only Tesamorelin reference: an entered 2 mL and a 0.1 mL (10 U-100 units) draw. Verify the actual vial label.
| Vial (mg) | Water (mL) | Concentration (mg/mL) | Amount per 10 U-100 units (mcg) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 2 | 2.5 | 250 |
| 10 | 2 | 5 | 500 |
| 20 | 2 | 10 | 1000 |
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate Tesamorelin reconstitution concentration?
Divide the labeled Tesamorelin mass in mg by the entered volume in mL. The same vial mass in twice the volume produces half the concentration. The tool calculates this relationship; it does not decide how much water to add.
How many units is 0.1 mL?
On a U-100 syringe, 0.1 mL × 100 = 10 units. These markings describe volume, not milligrams or a substance's biological activity.
How do I convert micrograms to milligrams?
1,000 mcg equals 1 mg. Divide a microgram amount by 1,000: for example, 250 mcg is 0.25 mg. Use matching mass units when dividing by concentration.
Does it work with U-40 or U-50 syringes?
The displayed syringe-unit results use U-100 calibration only. For the same volume, U-40 markings equal mL × 40 and U-50 markings equal mL × 50. A 0.5 mL, 50-unit U-100 syringe is not a U-50 syringe.
Are the examples dosing recommendations?
No. Every example and table entry is hypothetical arithmetic. The calculator converts quantities you supply; it does not determine an appropriate amount, frequency, route, or treatment.
Are syringe units IU?
No. U-100 markings measure volume, not biological International Units (IU).
