HGH Reconstitution Calculator

This calculator keeps labeled HGH International Units (IU) separate from syringe volume markings. Enter the vial's IU strength, water volume in mL, and the IU amount you want to convert. Common numerical examples use 10 IU and 20 IU vial strengths; these are illustrative labels, not recommendations. The widget remains an IU calculator and does not infer an IU-to-mg conversion, assess a preparation, or choose an amount or schedule.

How to use the peptide calculator

  1. Enter the total labeled IU in the vial; do not substitute mg or syringe markings.
  2. Enter the water volume in mL, using the preparation information for the specific product.
  3. Enter an amount in IU to convert. This is a quantity supplied by you, not one selected by the calculator.
  4. Read volume in mL and U-100 syringe units. Keep biological IU and syringe-volume units separate when interpreting the result.

The reconstitution formula

Concentration (IU/mL) = labeled IU in vial ÷ water volume (mL).

Volume (mL) = entered amount (IU) ÷ concentration (IU/mL).

U-100 syringe units = mL × 100. Biological IU are not syringe units; no universal IU-to-mg conversion is assumed.

Worked examples

10 IU with 1 mL

10 ÷ 1 = 10 IU/mL. An arbitrary 1 IU example corresponds to 1 ÷ 10 = 0.1 mL, or 10 U-100 units. The two uses of 'units' refer to different measurements.

10 IU with 2 mL

10 ÷ 2 = 5 IU/mL. A hypothetical 1 IU amount corresponds to 1 ÷ 5 = 0.2 mL, or 20 U-100 units. Doubling water halves concentration and doubles the volume for the same entered IU amount.

20 IU with 2 mL

20 ÷ 2 = 10 IU/mL. A hypothetical 2 IU amount is 2 ÷ 10 = 0.2 mL, or 20 U-100 units. This worked example is arithmetic, not an amount or frequency recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

How many units is 0.1 mL?

On a U-100 syringe, 0.1 mL × 100 = 10 units. These markings describe volume, not milligrams or a substance's biological activity.

How much bacteriostatic water should I add?

This calculator compares the concentration produced by the water volume you enter; it does not prescribe a volume. Use the product's preparation instructions and vial capacity. Doubling the entered water volume halves the calculated concentration.

Are HGH IU the same as syringe units?

No. HGH IU represent labeled biological activity; U-100 syringe markings represent volume. A reading of 10 syringe units is 0.1 mL, whose IU content depends on concentration.

Can I convert HGH mg to IU here?

The widget expects the vial's labeled IU value. It does not assume a universal conversion from mass to biological activity. A product-specific conversion cannot be inferred from syringe volume alone.

Does it work with U-40 or U-50 syringes?

The displayed syringe-unit results use U-100 calibration only. For the same volume, U-40 markings equal mL × 40 and U-50 markings equal mL × 50. A 0.5 mL, 50-unit U-100 syringe is not a U-50 syringe.

Are the examples dosing recommendations?

No. Every example and table entry is hypothetical arithmetic. The calculator converts quantities you supply; it does not determine an appropriate amount, frequency, route, or treatment.
